Am I supporting the wrong club? I constantly see Liverpool fans bashed for being foreign or not from Liverpool. Just makes me wonder if I support the wrong club that doesn't like support from Americans or other countries.

Unfortunately, you have aligned yourself with the footballing equivalent of purgatory. Look at any Hieronymus Bosch painting if you want to understand the physical and spiritual torture endured by Evertonians in general, and Evertonians on this forum in particular. When a soul is in this much pain and torment, it is not unusual for it to lash out at those sharing in its pain.

Don’t let others define the bounds of being an Evertonian anymore than you let others define the bounds of being an American.

There’s always going to be a gatekeeping minority to the fan base. But as many have pointed out, they hate anyone who doesn’t have a purple wheelie bin.

If you identify as an Evertonian, then you’re an Evertonian - and the vast majority of us would see it that way.

We were the richest club in the country when it didn't make a difference. We once had the greatest goalscorer ever and now we spend half a season without a forward at all. Our Board put the Everton in "for EVER TONe deaf", and we are run like K-Mart after Sears bought them.
This may seem all glum to you but that's why we are here, clapping the man that has overseen our demise like obedient drones. Don't hope things will be better in the future, it is indeed, The Hope that kills you...

I like to think that I have a gaydar for kopites. Sometimes a local kopite might slip under the radar but foreign kopites never do. It takes a conscious decision to support a team from outside of the area that you live and part of that process for kopites is when they ask themselves whether they consider themselves a [Poor language removed]. Hence why we hate foreign kopites yet admire fellow foreign blues.

Being foreign and supporting Everton is 10 times worse for a derby here , in Liverpool you see more Everton fans , in Malta you are the only one wearing an Everton shirt surrounded by gobsh1tes .

When I decided I wanted to start watching the premier league it was natural due to an article I read here describing each team and how they relate to NFL teams well I am massive Denver Broncos fan and they were the team it said Everton were most like. And on top of that Tim Howard was here. Now I can't get enough and get just as frustrated with how this season has gone.

There's got to be some sort of joke here about Mile High and Allardyce hoofball. Someone help me out.
