He plays to the level of his competetion

This is exactly the reason why I fear he couldn't be sold.

Despite being a cracking player (and I certain love his afro) I think the chances that we can recoup the 15m (and as everyone understands Liege would receive 15% of his proceeds) in a sale is getting slim. Ultimately it is whether we think the results he brings is worth the cost of keeping him (personally I'll say no).

A true £24m footballer would have ran the show on Saturday. Hair apart, you wouldn't have known Fellaini was on the pitch.

We need a strong box-to-box MF player. Arsenal got one last summer for c £12m and he became their player of the season. We should be looking to do the same. If that would mean having to sell Fellaini then so be it.

PS - during the HT break on Saturday, one of the coaches had Fellaini doing timed sprints. It was the only time he'd moved with any urgency.

he has a different role now and its not being a box to box midfielder its being a holding midfielder. his job is to win back possession and play simple passes.

hes pretty much taking the role osman played last season except he will actually be able to defend

Fellaini is a brilliant footballer with some world class attributes. Don't sell.

Worst thread ever.

If we are judging people on Saturdays game, we overpaid by around 5m on Kone.

He was fcking awful, thankfully for him I would never judge somebody on 45minutes in a pre-season friendly/

Where as all this sell Fellaini talk come from all of a sudden ? Always think we look a far better team when Fellaini is
Playing, and I don' see there being a queue waiting to sign McCarthy.

If selling Fellaini mean signing McCarthy then i've never wanted Fellaini to stay more than I do right now.
