Second Season Illness?

do u think that next season Martinez will get better if we give him a chance?

The only way he is going to get better is if he gets rid of his stubbornness and realises that the tactics he uses just don't work. The biggest worry is he has perceived with the same tactics for most of the season, even though everyone else can see they're not working, apart from him that is.

I think this summer will te us everything about Martinez and the future
I hope in private he his having a pop at the players and already is thinking about Which players he needs to move on

IMO we need a dominant CB, 2 quality wide players and a very good back up striker
Obviously we may need to cover more Possitions if we lose some of our big players

We also need a new captain/leader jags sadly is not up to the job

If we start next season with Howard still in goal, Barry in midfield
And God forbid mcgeady and Lennon on the flanks

The writing will be on the wall for Martinez

Dave started calling in Talksport now to spread his garbage has he, he is always on about this being 2nd season syndrome for the Catalan Clown.

As mentioned in a previous post I'd like to see us pinch Ronald Koeman from Southampton.

Risky mate.

A- don't think he'd come here. Especially as they'll probably be in Europe next season and we obviously won't.

And

B- We know all too well how a first season with a new manager can go and then the second can go badly wrong. Let's wait and see how he copes second time round yeah?

If we didn't give him an other chance who would u like to replace him?

Mine would be Big Dunc

i don't think it's possible to be any worse than this given the squad we have. martinez has made so many mistakes, but it's his first season in management managing europe and the league - he's still very young. i'd much rather sack of a couple of the players who have let us down continually all season than the manager. if it continues into next season then there's no excuses though, obviously.

pretty much this. koeman's done a great job of course, but it's hardly any better than what martinez did 1st season. you can't just go around sacking managers after two seasons after 1 great, 1 terrible and replace with managers who are possibly going to do the same.
