Has anyone entered the competition in yesterday's programme for tickets to Brighton game...it tells you to scan QR code then enter your details then submit..it then sends you website but doesn't tell you if you've successfully entered..anyone else had this?

I don't have answer to your question. But as a non-liverpool based supporter. I was gonna ask if Seat Unique is best way to pick up the odd tickets here and there this season to come watch us? I don't mind paying a little more if it's easier to grab tickets. Or is there other options?

I'm down south, but would like to get up a few times this season

Yes mate tickets seem readily available for most games but you will be paying a tidy sum

I would say seat unique on the face of it, is an expensive way to go. Even for the cheapest seat they offer it’s £125, but you can buy for any fixture this season, today. So you can plan your travel, etc and maybe save that way.

Whereas, if you bought the premium membership for £60, then the tickets get released closer to the date of the game and you have to enter a ballot for a ticket, so you may not even get one, if you do, I think the cheapest ticket is £58, so all in all there wouldn’t be much difference in price

It looks a very good option for those of us who can only attend now and then or those of us abroad.

Put it this way, some of their tickets are about 150. Yet, a match day ticket - if you are lucky enough to get one in the sale - is about 70. You need membership of another, what, 60 to even enter that? So basically, if you can get a ticket for 150, it's guaranteed. You'll pay 130 - if you are lucky - the other way, with no guarantees. That's a decent 20 well spent, in my view, for somebody who wants to be able to plan and look forward, not rush and scramble for tickets and hotels.

I treated myself to a Trinity place ticket off here for the Villa game, £325. Expensive definitely, but coming from Ipswich I only get to come up a couple of times a season so it’s a nice little treat for me and has some really nice perks

Means I can now relax because my seat is already guaranteed before they even go on sale. Meant I could also book my hotel and train ticket and get everything sorted for the weekend.

What I will say though, is I don’t quite understand the disparity in prices for the same ticket for different games. I get that there’s always tiers for the more eye catching looking games, but the pricing is just strange.

For example, I paid £325 as I mentioned, for the Trinity place hospitality. The same ticket for Fulham at home for example, is £475. That’s a whooping £150 more expensive for exactly the same package! Why? Is Fulham seen as a more attractive fixture than Aston Villa? Because it definitely isn’t..

Club or whatever is called …. do you actually get to see players in the tunnel via a one way window or whatever whilst you’re in the bar / restaurant? like I think they do at Spurs and City ?

Premium Blue £90 one off fee. Put you in the ballot for a possible ticket with prices from 58-75 quid

Blue member £60 put u in a ballot for any remaining ticket from above

Also any tickets sold or given by a season ticket holder the buyer/receiver must have a premium Blue membership(if you mate give u 1 free ticket it’s £90

Yes, you see the players in the tunnel, from the bar, through the one way glass, you basically get to sit next to David Moyes, in the racing car seats. it’s about £1200 per ticket for the home game against Brentford

That’s the reason I usually pick one of the promoted teams because travelling from one end of the country to the other to watch a 90 minute game of football, you wanna see a good result! But that hasn’t been fool proof for me over the years either

I did target Palace at the beginning of October cos we have a great record against them, but again it didn’t make financial sense. £499 for the Trinity place hospitality, as apposed to £325 for Villa

All true but you’re paying for convenience and a guaranteed seat. Paying a membership to enter a ballot when you’re still not sure if you’ll be successful to get a ticket is obviously not ideal. Not so bad for the locals, but for those travelling long distance who need to sort hotels and transport then IMO it’s worth getting a guaranteed seat sorted well in advance so all further plans can then be made.
