Season to start against Wolves

It's a sad state of affairs when our season starts on November 19th.

Very sad indeed.

I can't be bothered to work it out, but how many points did we have this time last season?

10 points from 10 games. I wonder what is our worst ever start under Moyes. They all seem to be awful.

I don't think it's a realistic comparison to other seasons to be honest. Since Moyes came in, how many times have we faced 6 matches in a row against teams expected to be competing for Champions League spots?

2004/05 springs to mind, when we couldn't score a goal to save our lives. Still around (in ?) the bottom 3 at Christmas, and then a last minute winner at Sunderland off someone's arse (Stubbsy ?) and our season began.

Looking at the fixtures coming up, apart from Arsenal away, every game is winnable. Not to say we will, but we have not got a really tough month of fixtures until feb. Quiet side bet; we can be above Newcastle by Feb 1st. Well maybe.

The season is actually over already. I would have thought that was obvious. We'd need a league winning run of form between now and February (something I envisaged us doing until I realised tonight that Moyes is a truly awful manager who is managing a bunch of average at best footballers) to even entertain thoughts of a Europa League spot.

I just hope we're clear of the bottom three by Christmas so we're not sucked into a relegation spot. We have winnable games but with that side and that management mindset we're going to trip up away from home against most sides this season.

What I dont get is why the **** is he not changing it up?

Its been 2 seasons with massive, glaring problems in the side and all he does is say we dont have money or strikers so...you get what you get.

This is from one of the highest paid managers in the premiership!

**** it. I want Martinez in. PRONTO
