The opening day of the 2014/15 Barclays Premier League season will be on Saturday 16 August 2014

I booked a four day break for the 4th of September - happily it's now announced as a Euro 2016 weekend and so I definitely won't be missing an Everton game.

The 16th? Mum's going to be thrilled on her birthday when dad sticks on the footie highlights to watch the mighty Everton!

But if we get into the Europa do,won't the qual games be starting before the season start?
