if we can win all 3 and finish on 65pts like last year i'll be well chuffed considering the start we had not to mention the injuries.
we can probably match the goal difference if we knuckle down a bit more. and we've swapped deafeats for draws, lets swap them to wins next year (newcastle x2, blackburn, arsenal to name a few)

The whole league has spread out the points a little more evenly through the bottom 15 places. What is it ... 40 points is usually the mark to reach to stave off relegation? Well, 35 might do it this year. It's been tight in the middle as the clubs outside the sky4 are playing each other much more closely than in recent memory. Also, Derby only got something like 10 or 11 points last year. As bad as WBA has been at the foot of the table, they are far from the sure thing as one-win Derby was a year ago.

That's a big part of it, but it's not all coming down to a more closely-played league. I look at the two points we got off Newcastle this season. Should have been six there, for sure.

Posted via Mobile Device Like somebody has already mentioned, given our poor start and injuries we've had a cracking season in the prem, 60pts or more represents a great effort taking everything into consideration not to mention getting to a cup final as well. All in all the boys have done us proud. COYB
