Madar was a good player. I have always found the narrative that he was crap to be really odd!

I agree . Danny Cadamateri says he was a nutty as a fruit bar but he was so good technically .
He could be a bit lazy but he was decent . A Cantona-lite if he had a good night's sleep .

He's not as good as Cleverly

He reminds more of one Baningime formerly of this manor.
He came in full of youthful exuberance and looked the part.
However with hindsight it is clear that exuberance masked shortcomings and once it had ebbed he began to appear less impressive.
Injury and failure to recapture that early promise has seen his career fade somewhat and he has since moved on.
