No thanks. Let's enjoy what he did for us, but that ship has sailed for many reasons.

Absolutely packed when we went there (Burnley v Palace earlier this season). Nice little pub, even had a New Zealand ale on tap for us.

Obviously he’s not close to being an elite manager, but he’s managed for multiple seasons in the top flight and once qualified a very un-fancied side into Europe

Compared to most of the decent to good managers at premier league level he’s not quite up to their level

However, he’s still demonstrably better at this than the vast majority of managers in the footballing pyramid

That’s the brutality of top level sport

You can be miles better than a layman and most of your peers, but you can still be called out for being crap because there’s 15-20 who are just plain better than you

I’m sure the arseload of money you have in the bank account dilutes the disappointment somewhat
