Has Scott Parker been sacked, am I missing something or is he just getting his spade in the ground early for when Parker is sacked ?

With his ego he really really needs to start selling the Burnley Project as a positive and gracious move, One that no other Man in his position would take on..
Selling himself as a saviour of a club close to his heart that has fallen on bad times..
Would the fans really take him back though..

Oh the comedy…@Death @NeilMorepies, whichever account he’s logging onto these days, will be delighted at the prospect of his gaffer being back in the game. Not quite the level I’m sure he envisaged in his head but I suppose it’s something.
I wouldn't be surprised if he went abroad, I remember an interview with him early in the season and he really came across as he was fed up with the way football has gone over here.![]()
Scott Parker leaves Burnley by mutual consent following confirmation of Premier League relegation
Scott Parker has left Burnley by mutual consent; Parker leaves with immediate effect with Mike Jackson taking over on an interim basis, starting against Leeds on Friday, live on Sky Sports; Burnley’s defeat to Manchester City last week confirmed their relegation to the Championshipwww.skysports.com
They let players player of the season Brownhill leave to saudi, and didn't have that hard working cover in midfield they'd relied on to squeeze games and win with a crazy tight defence. Parker wasn't exactly given big bucks like Sunderland were to prepare for this term in the PL so giving him the heave-ho for only being relegated at the end of April seems a bit counter productive.
Unless they have someone lined up.
Signed a 3 year contract in 2024 so has given up on 12 months of carrying on by mutual consent. Maybe he wouldn't sign an extension. Wonder if he fancies a former club, like Charlton or somewhere he could build long term.
The pair of scruffs (Dyche and Burnley) are made for each other. Thanks, I had no idea he`d been sacked.
I can`t believe their fans would be happy with #ThankYouMyGaffer going back tbh.

It’ll be interesting to see if his two remaining acolytes on here, still get wood over him if he goes back to the land of the Dingles.
"Right lads, we know what we have to do, stop the ball going in that net and put the ball in the other net"I have no doubt they’ll be crowing over his magnificent against-all-odds achievement of getting Burnley back up (their two previous managers have done it first time of asking with 100+ points each)

"Ok lets get to work"
