I said the team carried no goal threat because our striker offers no threat.

We should have scored multiple goals but its no surprise we didnt given the lack of quality in attacking areas. We didnt even get close to scoring with several good chances.

The personnel are the problem. Until Dyche stops playing Maupay, and until Thelwell and the owner get him new strikers, this will be the usual rubbish we have to watch every week.

The standard of attacking play on show there today is an embarrassment and not acceptable at Everton. I wont watch that football, it had no place in top flight football.
Thank you.

Yup, people are fixating on details when it's the bigger picture that should be in focus. Dyche could pick somebody other than Maupay, but in the absence of new players worthy of the Premier League our overall direction will not change.

I mean, it's great to see such anal scrutiny of the manager - but where was this when Lampard was in charge, sweet-taking the masses into an anesthetized cooing euphoria as we rocketed to the Championship?

All of this is irrelevant. We're arguing over crumbs. The issue is in the boardroom. No change there means no change on the pitch. Our manager at this point is almost beside the point. The cancer is upstairs. Cut that out and then we can fixate on the dugout.
Of course the board and the way the club is run are the greatest issues overall. However, in this particular thread we are discussing Dyche whose job is not to scrutinize the board but to find a way to beat crap sides like Fulham who are not much better than us. He has failed. Again.

Blew it today. Awful team selection and tactics against a dreadful Fulham side. One striker in our opening home game? Same old rubbish with the same old rubbish performers.

The entire midfield makes my eyes bleed. Neither an ounce of guile or goal threat. And then i have to come on here and read some people bigging up alex iwobi 🥺

So who does he play instead?
