Not saying sack Dyche but this "there is no one else" argument is bizarre. De Zerbi, Postecoglu and even Iraola would be getting a better tune out of this team with way better football. The style we're playing at the moment is woeful

Why do you think De Zerbi would get a tune out of our squad? We don’t have the players to play the way he’s played previously in my opinion so although he’s a fantastic at what he does I don’t see how he gets our current team to do it?

Absolute nonsense. Started with Mirallas then Deulofeu and recently has been Digne and James.

It’s a hangover from Moyes favouring players who run but fans have enabled it.

What!? Mirallas was loved for years and only got stick for being a bell over the pen he took off our taker and then missing.
Geri loved the fans and still tweets about us and Digne and James only left because Benitez punted them (though in hindsight he probably had to because of ffp)

It wasn`t consistent though was it, it was a stand out season, he doesn`t have very many on his CV...

What we are seeing now is what it will be like, he hasn`t changed the style at all and I don`t think he intends to.

Every season he kept Burnley and now us in the premier league was a standout season, he’s excellent at overachieving with crap squads which is why we’re not in the relegation zone with 10 points removed.

We don't have the players to play progressive/expansive football.

We're crap. The last 3/4 years results show it. Pragmatic/percentage football is required to keep the club's head above water - and that means staying in the league.

You don't have to like it, but it's reality.

Sack him and replace with who? "there's thousands of managers, a few could replace us" - name one then mate, and is that a gamble you think the club should take now?

Not asking for progressive or expansive. Im asking for playing passes to a blue shirt regularly. There are teams in the lower leagues who are technically better on the ball than us. You dont need DeBruyne, Silva and Modric to be able to pass and move, its a basic principle of football. The players we have should be good enough to find a team mate with routine passes. Yet the percentage of our successful passes each game is so poor.

As for naming one, I dont know but im not a highly paid professional. A lot of other clubs manage to get decent managers to help them improve. We are the only team that get poor manager after poor manager. Thats the clubs job, instead of the Allardyces, Benitez's Dyche's of the world.

We have been saying that for years.

Said it when Ancelotti had us top of the league playing expansive football. Changed to playing negative and tumbled down the league.

We have the players to play attacking football far more than we have the players to play negative football.

It was never really proper expansive football though, his tactics when he took over compared to the end of his last season were pretty much the same. We would rarely have more possession than the opposition. Ancelotti is a world class manager though, we couldn't sustain it cos of our squad, we lacked players with technical ability.

The only way we do that is by changing the manager/coaching team. Some of the basic stuff out there today was truly dreadful…..passing, shooting, heading, finding space, decision making all poor, all over the pitch. Look at when we get a long distance shot, before he hits it we all know where it’s going and it’s nowhere near the net
