I think for me the big thing with a manager is whether they can get the players working hard and showing some impetus to try and win football matches

Anything else is a bonus really

If Dyche can do that then I can live with it

My problem with Allardyce was never his "style" of play but more the fact he was such a coward when we played the better sides. That and he was an absolute a***hole who clearly looked down on supporters

Dyche's Burnley would sometimes have a go against better sides at least

I have no illusions that he'll be an exciting appointment, especially under the current financial restraints the club has enforced on it

I'll give him a chance at least though. Hopefully he can grind out some wins and keep us in the fight
