He needs subbing as he will know he screwed up for the pen and his judgement could be further exposed second half. Guaranteed Howe will be instructing his players half time to target him second

Ideally yes, but I think one of the difference between the first 25 and 2nd 25 minutes, was that we lost almost all the duels in the midfield like in the first half of the Palace game.
And I'm sure with the right corrections we have a decent chance to get away with something. One thing is to play a bit more football. Whether the coaching team is capable of doing it is another question.
