We were always going to struggle at Spurs and at Villa.
We will have a better idea of the survival prospects of our great club by the end of this month.
After years of under-investment in terms of transfers and after years of selling our best players.... from Richarlison to Onana.... we simply don't have the same level of quality of 90% of the Premier League clubs. But I still think we will survive.
All we, as fans, can do.... is get behind our players and hope they find some confidence. The most worrying is... is that the lads all seem to be trying their best.

Until this changes the dial at Everton isn’t moving much.
Maybe he should swap from a tracksuit back to a suit.
That was his main bit of mental gymnastics that caused our good run after the Chelsea defeat wasn't it?

The thing is , we were beating villa, 2-0 even.
All we had to do was not concede 3 goals in a game, something that for most teams in this league is an easy task, even conceding 2 happens and you take your point.
We played tactics that allowed villa to create chances, have plenty of the ball AND threaten. It was the entire opposite of us deserving a lead or having a game plan to score, and maintain that until the final whistle.
In reality ,we are leaking goals worse than a promoted side. This isn't expecting us to challenge for the league title, it's the basics of the game that we are failing at. Not conceding goals is literally the most basic part of scoring and we seem to do the opposite.
