2024/25 Sean Dyche - Sacked

There are fans out there that support Dyche and blame the players, and they'll still do it after today's game.

Just a reminder, that we had a similar situation under Mike Walker players struggling. Then in came Joe Royle who transformed that side. They won games, they won the cup and then we finished 6th the following year.

Just a reminder how football works.

Look at Forest this season. I'm sure Dyche does.

Moyes would be an appalling choice because the next appointment shows the breath of ambition of the Friedkins.

If our horizons are limited to former managers for eternity, then we are damned to repeat the failures of the past and swim in an ever-decreasing genetic cesspool.

There is a whole world of managers out there. We need to see some ambition now. Not a comfy cardigan because Evertonians are terrified of the world and its shadow.

That may be the case next season. But our position is precarious this season and a safe pair of hands is required to keep us up. If we got the kind of manager your referring to then they would need to be backed heavily in this window as the current crop of players are bad enough playing how they are let alone trying to learn new ways of playing mid season in a relegation battle

As long as he gets to strengthen the squad...right now no managers would keep us up. Not sure if moyes would fancy the gig especially where we currently are with this group of players.
Moyes would be more likely to say "we'll go with what we've got".
Get all your rose coloured glasses off, remember how many were screaming for Moyes to be sacked because of his boring football?
We need a revolutionary to change things from the core.

Dyche's tactics are prehistoric but we are so poor in possession, that any new manager would struggle with this squad.. The squad has been underfunded for years and needs an injection if at least 3/4 quality additions.
How many of our players would get into Villas team.? 3/4 Tops.?
It doesn't help that the likes of Garner and Tim are injured long term.
They could give us domething different, as does McNeil, who at least can give us the occasional breakaway goal.

Stop playing doucoure would be a start. But doucoure is the player version of dyche so thats not happening.

Who is upset by it? Only you it seems. We have had plenty of resources and blown half a billion and your going on about Bournemouth because they have spent 100 million, they are allowed to compete as well you know.

What original quote are you going on about?

If you can't be arsed going back then why geg into the conversation and take everything completely out of context?

There is a whole world of safe pairs of hands out there. They don't have to have managed Everton.

The poverty of ambition of some Evertonians never fails to amaze me.
