He'll be devastated there. Does unfortunately show that he probably needs to hang up his boots though.
He's been a good player for us but not for a few injury plagued years. Hopefully that's the last time we'll see him in an Everton shirt.

A shame but he still lead the team out and played for fifteen minutes so with his general fitness these days that's what he can manage rather than missing out completely.
Honestly it would be absolutely abysmal from the club if he's offered a new playing deal. By all means give him his first opportunity on the training ground but as a player, not a chance. Still love him.

Absolutely, what a player love him what he cost what the club means to him and everything he’s put in for us. Stayed on too long but I believe we have benefited from him in the dressing room and he’s showed the players what this club means to us fans now’s the time to go into coaching.
