We ask our players to do their jobs in midfield as they did last season. Just because they went missing against Villa doesn't mean they suddenly get to be non-league standard.

The weird thing, for me, is that I can't remember what Seamus Colemans' injury is or recall him getting injured. Hope we get him back playing soon though.

You’re looking at this the wrong way. Just because they turned up occasionally, when it suited them, doesn’t mean they are Premier League standard. I’d argue that the performance against Villa was more reflective of the attitude and ability.
