Not his fault we've relied so much on him when he couldn't be what we needed.
Shame for his season, maybe playing career, to end like that.
Epitomises him the way he was rallying despite the injury.
Loads of heart, can't not love him. 60 grand, and he is one of us. Good luck with the recovery.

Seamus is Everton through and through and has been one of our best players this season. When he doesn’t play we are weaker.

looked either a break at the top of his leg or cruciate ligaments, a leg shouldnt bend like that.

At his age, a career ender sadly.

Doesn't sound good at all from the reports so far. The same leg that was broken a few years back so the recovery period involved could well mean he won't be back.

If so, it's an absolute tragedy for him to go out like that after what he has given to the club. His place as a club legend is secure.

Well for some reason the broadcasters showed the tackle from about 36934 angles on repeat for about 5 minutes, so we could all see that it was a horrible injury and his knee pretty much bent sideways.
