Hope he never captains this club again. An absolute joke that he’s concerned about Son’s feelings whilst his team mate has a serious injury and we’re 17th in the league.

Stick your niceness up your arse and be a leader.

You’re a strange kind of human being.
Disagree.

I appreciate that while we’re all angry, Seamus has experience of this. Fair play.

Are well respected fan groups weird too?

I don’t give a crap how Son is feeling.

Why is it so bad one of our players shows some compassion to a distressed opponent? Son seems like a lovely lad and definitely wouldn’t have wanted to injure Gomes otherwise he wouldn’t have reacted that way.

Would you rather he just stood there and yelled abuse at Son? Because if so you’ve got issues.

He’s want someone consoling the div who snapped his leg?

He’s done it to look like Mr Nice. It’s a disgrace. Embarrassed that he’s leading this team but it explains a lot.
No. Gomes has enough people around him.

I’m livid with Son and that, but I think it’s wrong to take it out on Coleman. He was doing what he though right at the time.

If he didn’t want to injure Gomes he shouldn’t be throwing in reckless tackles like that. The moron. He could have wrecked Gomes’ entire career because of his idiocy.

Yeah, I would. Son is being portrayed as a victim here.

Have you even seen the challenge? He didn’t break his ankle with the tackle it was how Gomes landed on it. Complete accident and can happen in any challenge you massive plant pot. You’re talking like it was another Neil Taylor incident.

He made a reckless tackle in the middle of the park, you divvy. He didn’t try to win the ball.

His stupid challenge caused Gomes’ injury. If you can’t see that, you’re thick.

Some of the stick toward Son is disgraceful, it was a foul, he never meant harm, the damage was done by the collision with Aurier I think. It was horrific, feelings are running high but but let’s have some class eh

You’re the kinda bloke that slams his keyboard down and yells when the email won’t send aren’t you.

Maybe a couple of days to see emotional clarity will help.

Not at all. Nice to see you going off topic because you can’t defend your ridiculous opinion that Son’s stupid, reckless challenge caused a very serious injury.

Let’s all feel sorry for him, though.

Actions have consequences.

Need a draw a line under this.

I disagree that son is blameless. He deserves his ban for 3 games or whatever it is.

But after that we need to move on. It was a poor challenge but much worse challenges happen regularly and don't cause injuries. Its just a real horrible one for us. Most important thing is that Gomes recovers fully.
