I would agree to a certain extent, but he has been outstanding in Germany. And maybe his earlier games for Everton were under difficult circumstances and he was probably trying to hard. Being a fan. Getting away for a season looks like it’s worked.

He definitely deserves a season, to see how he gets on.
I can't I've watched any bundesliga and I'm not about to in all honesty. I'd be surprised as he didn't even look lile he had the technique to be a modern day full back, but if those lads who can be arsed watching him abroad so hes looking good I guess he's worth a shot

I agree but if Sidibe does establish himself and becomes permanent a return for Kenny could be problematic , even if he maintains his current form.
It’s an intriguing situation nonetheless.

I think the reports of his performances in Germany have been overblown. He's still not quite good enough technically and while he's got tremendous heart and have no problem with him as a backup, we need a stud right back and neither Sidibe or Coleman are good enough IMO.

been a brilliant player for us but its coming to an end, that being said I've seen nothing to suggest kenny is the answer

Never know with Kenny mate, only 2/3 months into a loan spell. By the seasons end I hope the coaching staff have all the info they need.

Id imagine either Kenny or Sidibe will stay next season as backup.

Thats unless we want to keep both of them and spend money in other pressing areas.

Important to remember that Kenny is a home grown player so fills a slot for us.

Would like to see sidibe given a run now....
Also with Kenny.....Coleman came on leaps and bounds after his loan spell, the lad will have ore season to convince the manager he's good enough to start

I`d like to think that Coleman will the back up to whoever is first team right back next season ( whoever that may be )

His first team days are rapidly drawing to an end.

He is tearing the Bundesliga apart from right back. Should have seen him against Dortmund last week, he was still bombing up the wing at 89 minutes

wouldn't even keep as a back up, would sell in the summer

been an amazing buy but he is absolutely terrible in every sense, don't want it to end up like tim howard who was remembered for his last season or two rather than the years he was quality

His lack of technical ability is massively obvious following his injury and is only going to get worse as he gets older. We simply have to get a replacement in and not do our usual thing of keeping someone way past their sell by date because they’ve been good for us in the past.

His issue will never be his ability to bomb up the wing for 90 minutes. His first touch, his passing, his ball control isn't quite good enough. Still could improve, but he's not tearing thr Bundesliga apart, that's silly.
