I would consider branding the entire Rangers support as bigots, as a slur on protestant people, but look we better stick to the football.
No, let's deal with this first as you brought it up, since you've accused me of having a problem with protestants, show me where this is the case, always the same Corky you can never back up the utter wham you come out with, put up or shut up.

Bit rich coming from someone who was banned from the site for racist remarks.

It's not often I stick up for bluenoses, but that's a tad harsh. If this is because Corky used the term 'coloured' to describe back people then, while I accept it is ignorance, that isn't being racist.

I've only ever tended to buy music by black artists. so I have known for a very long time how black folk feel about being called coloured, but people who don't know the latest terms to use shouldn't be branded racists..

Some white people actually think calling black folk black is being racist! With white people the term white is the one term that is used, but over the years various terms have been used to describe black people 'black' 'coloured' 'African-American' or 'Afro-Caribbean' 'person of colour' etc. I can understand why some people aren't aware of the correct term to use.

When someone does use the wrong term he/she should be told that isn't acceptable anymore. Branding them racist, when they haven't made a racist comment, is out of order and shouldn't be allowed, in my opinion.

Read it in it's context mate, he branded another poster as racist without asking that poster to explain his comments, I merely pointed out that he too had been banned for same thing, perhaps he should be a little more benevolent and point out the error of his ways rather than open his gob without engaging his brain as per usual.

A bit of a stretch there, Corky.

Surely that would be criticism of Rangers supporters behaviour, and not of Protestant people in general?
He is branding me a bigot whilst he doesn’t even know what religion I am which I find really weird, if you're posting that someone has a problem with protestants that is a big call to make and you back it up with substance right?

That's fair enough.

I dont agree with his comment about the other poster being a racist btw. Having said that, Corky didn't make any racist remarks that I'm aware of.. He may have used a term that was outdated, but he wasn't being racist, and I don't think that term should be used about him.
