I'd wait till Wednesday before putting up the bunting Dave

Rangers have been on an incredible run prior to dropping points today

I still feel Celtic are a bit fragile. We can be playing well, and a couple of goals up, then the opposition score a goal and we end up under serious pressure.

It should help a lot when we get all our players fit and in contention for a place.

Hearts couldn’t cope with Celtic’s energy and movement in the first half the other night but they seemed to drop off massively in the second half and were clinging on for long spells (all be it with a weakened team).

There’s definitely a slight ‘weakness’ to be get at but when they’re in full Ange-ball mode it’s difficult for any team to handle them.

The title race is too close to call at this stage.

Three unbelievable howlers yesterday, team has looked disjointed since we came back from the break, biggest problem with GvB so far has been why he decides to sit back when we go a goal up and then invites the opposition on to us??
He's very defensive minded and his set up has almost totally nullified the threat of Tav and Barisic!!

Bassey(being played out of position and never a centre half) and Barisic(stands off players too much and is poor at stopping cross balls into the box) give me the fear defensively but it looks like we're going to have to go more or less with yesterday's starting line up again(Roofe will start instead of Itten) , unless Helander or Balogun can get passed fit or if Souter gets brought in tomorrow.

Having said all that Rangers should be good enough to get a result against an average celtic team that has being riding their luck recently with a missed Hearts penalty on Wed who were getting the uperhand on them at the time and a last minute goal yesterday.

Really need to press them hard and stop Jota getting space and in Aribo, Kent and Diallo(would also use Lowry at some point who looks a talent) we have the creative players to make the difference.

Think that's me just about convinced myself!! ?

Don't know how Rangers managed to drop points yesterday, I only watched the 20 minutes prior to them scoring there third and the Ross goal was under complete siege the ball never left there penalty box.
On a different note I am sure it must have been mentioned but Ange Postacoglou is doing a great job at Celtic and is definitely a manager Worth watching only on a 12 month rolling contract ( hope we are not looking for anybody for a few years).

It seems to be Celtic's policy to employ their manager's on a 12 month rolling contract, personally I think that is fair all round.
I hate the fact we have spent so much money on managers in so little space of time.
I just hope it's a good, action packed game on Wednesday that lives up to the hype.

If Rangers win on Wednesday, they go five points ahead of Celtic. So the opportunity is there, to put a resurgent Celtic back on their backsides so to speak!
