A second season syndrome of sorts for the Rangers ?
Celtic being Celtic.
One of these (probably Rangers) will find form to win the title.
It's up to the rest to strike while they can.

From what little I've seen of them, TRIFC definitely haven't been as good this season but they make it hard for opponents to score, and play for free kicks where they can load up the opposition penalty box, and this is why I think they should be favourites for the title this season.

Celtic are playing good football so far, and it has been enjoyable to watch, but unless something changes I think our weakness in defending will cost the team the chance of winning the title.

Three losses in the first six games for Celtic.

The manager is right up against it there. His only consolation is that Rangers aren't out of sight just yet.

You have to say though that Eddie Munster is more than likely going to notch up his 2nd title.

A very poor performance from Celtic, with hardly anyone playing well. I can only remember the Livi keeper making one real save in the 2nd half. Celtic created practically nothing today, apart from that one decent effort from Ajeti in the 2nd half.

Livi got men behind the ball and were hard to break down. They also threw themselves to the deck anytime a Celtic player went near them, and the ref obliged by awarding them free kicks. hart made a brilliant save in the 1st half to keep Celtic in the game. He also made a good save in the 2nd half

Celtic are far too lightweight. Postecoglou may have his philosophy, but he has to realise Scottish football is more physical than Japanese football, and you need player who will get stuck in, and head the ball etc. Abada and Jota were like youth players paying against men.

Rangers aren't that good. They've dropped off in intensity and any decent Celtic team would have them in their sights.

Yes, that's the problem, it's not a decent Celtic side. We're weak and ineffectual. Our players look like boys competing against men. Admittedly we had a few players out today, but some of our players really have to take a look at themselves.

We appear to have signed the only Croatian international footballer who can't pass the ball to a team mate. McCarthy looked like fan who had won a competition to play for the team. I can accept maybe injuries could have slowed him down, but he seemed incapable of making the simplest passes.

TRIFC haven't been very good, but it looks like they're being handed the league by a poor Celtic side. If things don't pick up soon, I can see him getting the John Barnes treatment before the winter break.

Celtic being knocked back by Eddie Howe must have been a big blow to the confidence of their organisation. They need to be reinvigorated in the way Rangers were a couple of years back: a big name player bringing with him a lot of coaching and playing staff. Postecoglou is isolated there and he's relying on former manager's assistants. John Kennedy appears to be Celtic's Duncan Ferguson; he hangs around like a bad smell, sticking around after every manager disappears.

Root and branch job on Celtic is needed.

Really poor from Celtic yesterday. We've done what Rangers did when gerrard took over and thrown 14 or so players in, mostly young lads and hoping it gels. Only saving grace is they dropped points as well. Can definitely see this being the closest any side outside the old firm have been to the top by the end of the season although it will still be an old firm 1/2.
