I'm always wary of signing players who have downed tools for their current club, as there's always a chance they could do it to your club if he wanted to leave at any time.

Think the coaching staff and supporters felt if he finished the season with them they could have stayed up.
I mean, any Scottish side reaching the knock outs of a European competition is good going these considering just how ridiculous it is to qualify in the first place
