If the Hibs board really want another manager who'll get into a running feud with the players, then Strachan's their man! Or, if they want the club to kick on and progress, they'll soon rule him out as a candidate.

They definitely don't want to take him on.

I hope they make peace with Lennon. But if not I'd like to see a younger manager at ER. Possibly Gary Holt.

Make no mistake, the Hibs job is a huge attraction and they'll be inundated with applications.

Don't know if you saw today's Record, but in the "Road Trip" bit where they go to a different non-top flight ground every week, Cappielow was this week's ground. And funnily enough, last week's one was Bayview, at which your good selves were the visiting team...

According to the Hibs captain, the players were shocked at Lennon's suspension. He said Lennon took a normal briefing session, and the first he knew about any problem was when he say on Sky that Lennon had been suspended.

It's a strange one. If I had to guess, one player, maybe Kamberi, complained about Lennon, he was spoken to by Leeanne Dempster, Hibs chief executive, they had a bust up, and it's gone from there.

Eddie May seems adamant he doesn't want a mangement job. Happy to work with the youngsters - like Strachan also.

Of course, filthy lucre has a way of breaking resolve. God I'm cynical today.
