Terrible news

BT at least tried to get coverage for the other teams and treated the league like it mattered

It'll be all Old Firm all the time now

Sickener that
So bad this
BT who love the rs ( I think the boss is one of them)
Did a great job with the footie up here.
The pantomime between Sutton and the Irish lad was quality and you knew when Michael Stewart said something it had gone too far.
Then you had McCoist with that facial expression when Sutton spoke pish.
John Harston never disagreed with his old celtic sparing partner which I can kind of understand.
Another point about BT is like sky used to do they'd bring the odd legend out as a guest summeriser

There was at least a semblance of passion for the Scottish game with BT

SKY's coverage has always been "The Old Firm plus guests" in comparison

No, but some people think theres are, i go to most games thats why i was asking which one
WOW! I'm not trying to suggest that Morton fans are angels, though to be honest, most of the travelling 400 or so fans are sound. I'm only letting you know my own experiences of both of the OF in the last few years and my experiences at Ibrox were amongst the worst I have had to deal with in the 52 years I've been going to watch football, and by the way, I would not be considered a wallflower by any means.
I noticed that @Cork Evertonian liked your post...a Catholic from the Republic of Ireland, who has never even been to Ibrox, Scotland or out of his own bedroom liked
your post, but seems to support anyone that makes him seem interesting...:celebrate:. Stay classy.

I would have thought our man from Greenock, would have softened his stance on Rangers. With a former Rangers player managing Morton and all.
Jeezuz. Why would Morton have an ex-Rangers player as a manager make any difference to my life in general? You should be asking why ex-Morton hero Derek McInnes, spent most of his career at the 'Ton, turned Ragers down.?

I enjoy Scottish football , BT probably did

I’m a massive Mcinnes fan and been up to watch Aberdeen win the league cup amongst being up for quite a few games. I’ve watched most of the Scottish teams over the years and enjoyed a lot of it , often for the experience more than the footy but it’s its usually a good day out . It might be unpopular or controversial but to me it’s hard to shift the idea he might have bottled it to be honest .

I don’t mean that in a patronising way to Aberdeen but I listened to his interviews and he didn't seem to really step away before it came up but when push come to shove he didn’t take it. The rationale is hard for me to put together, despite the only trophy for years Aberdeen fans don’t worship him , he’s not exactly top of the English football league list so not taking rangers or in different circumstances Celtic (if he’d maybe not been ex rangers ) its hard for me to to put together what he wants and that’s not having an old firm obsession. Just accepting players and managers look for those opportunities Let’s face it as blues we’ve seen it plenty of times .

I was having a look at the jambos kickback site. Some people seem to think, that there is a friendship between Rangers and Hearts. But if from what i read on there, Hearts fans have no time for either of the old firm.Likewise a lot of Rangers fans on the follow follow site don't like Hearts either. But Celtic Aberdeen Hibs and Dundee United, would be disliked more by Rangers fans.Personally myself i don't mind Hearts. The great Alex Young played for them, before he went to Everton.I think that Hearts side that won the league in 1958, holds the record for most league goals scored in a scottish football season.

All clubs have idiots, and we have our fair share or more

The rumour at the time of McInness getting the Rangers job was that Dave King wanted him to leave Aberdeen, but Rangers wouldn't pay the one million pound compensation deal that was in his contract, and would fight it out in court. McInness, not unnaturally, decided against taking this offer, and stayed with Aberdeen.

Rangers then released a statement indicating Mcinness didn't have the mentality to take the Rangers job. Iirc, this was the infamous statement that included the word concomitant.

The word up here is that Stephen Christopher Yaxley-Lennon, or whatever he's calling himself these days. is trying to ingratiate himself with the Hearts support.

A few Jambos have been posting about it on twitter, and, to say the least, are less than pleased that this racist scumbag is trying to infiltrate their clubs support.

Yeah i heard about that.A lot of them don't like Craig Levein either.Which i find odd. They were doing well until they got a few injuries, and Levein is a Hearts legend as well.
