Feels like the Celtic board are just asking for it at this point if they go ahead and appoint Keane. Personally I don't agree with the hostility towards him, but life isn't fair and you have a resposibilty as leaders to read the depth of feeling in the room. If he was the outstanding candidate for the position I'd actually commend them for refusing to buckle to the outrage, but he's a relative novice coming off a bad season to boot. I doubt he'd make Rangers worried for next season.
They should throw everything at getting Ange to come back. Failing that, if they want a younger coach,what about Maloney? I'm sure MON would help him out and the players would be for it. Giving it to Martin himself for another year just kicks the can down the road and fixes nothing tbh.
