Why is it Palestine you're especially interested in? Having listened to both sides of Israel/Palestine conflict, I have little sympathy for either of them. My issue is people who are pro Palestinian aren't bothered by actions of Turkey for example. Turkey currenty illegally occupy Northern Cyprus, journalists are imprisoned, Kurdish towns have been flattened, as well as refusing to acknowledge Armenian genocide. Add to that deliberate attempt to eradicate Kurdish identity, language, traditions and so on and so forth. My issue is simply hypocrisy of people in West engaged in selective outrage. UK and US were fine with Saddam Husseins activities in 80s, then all of a sudden he was "next Hitler". Back to Celtic and Rangers, it just seems both sides are obsessed with just adopting ideas that wind up other side. Hence you have Rangers fans supporting Espanyol, a staunchly Catholic nationalist club, because Celtic have a friendship with Barca. That's why I'd much prefer Hearts, Hibs, Motherwell or anyone other than Celtic and Rangers, to win SPL.

I suppose you would really need at ask The Green Brigade that question. They're tend to be the guys who fly most of the flags.

I don't protest about it but, in my opinion, Israel is an oppressor. In any kind of war there will be bad things done by both sides but, as I said, Israel oppreses the Palestinians, and should have been held to account, particulalry by the US, a long time ago.

As for who you support, you're entitled to support whoever you choose, and your reasons for supporting them.

A very tainted title. Every VAR decision going their way for weeks; it was all set up for Celtic to win yesterday. And the fact that the match was abandoned yesterday to suit their scum fans running on the pitch and assaulting Hearts players just sums the whole thing up.

Such was the treacherous and chaotic nature of Celtic Park yesterday both on and off the pitch, a quick decision was made by Hearts’ security team to evacuate the scene immediately and the violent scenes continued outside the ground as the Hearts players and officials boarded their buses.

Meanwhile as the Hearts team received a warm and dignified reception back at Tynecastle, scum Celtic fans trashed their own city and attacked police.

No wonder everyone else looks at Celtic with dismay. Always the victims. It’s never their fault is it. Doesn’t that just remind you of another club that they share anthems with?

Hearts aren’t going away though. Mr Bloom, despite false claims made about him, will continue to work his magic and we’ll be back stronger next season.

Armchair, glory-hunting Celtic fans will one day soon find alternative way to fill their Saturdays.

For the good guys on here, I’ll see you all back in the summer. 😜

🎵 Hearts, Hearts, Glorious Hearts
Come on mate.
If your depending to get a result at parkhead on the last day ,you've no chance.
Aberdeen where in a similar, situation needed to avoid defeat at Ibrox in the 90s ?
Hatley clattered the stand in kid goalie early and that was it a 2-0 reverse.
Yous done well considering Shankland was out for so long.
I'm afraid the two horse race will return next season...I pray I'm wrong.

I've got to give it to you lads, this thread has literally brought out every worldly topic going from Football, Politics, Religion, Conspiracy theories, police protection for officials, players running to a bus in their underwear, a missing manager, corrupt VAR and most importantly Half and half scarfs.

And all kept in flowing banter.

I'm definitely jumping on the Hearts train next season.

You don't get that kind of excitement in the EPL. 😉

I like them because they wave Palestinian flags, and I hate whataboutisms!
Issue is selective outrage. If your pro Palestinian, you should also oppose Turkey. If you aren't bothered about Turkey occupying Northern Cyprus, you aren't bothered about them committing violent and cultural genocide on Kurds, add to that imprisoning journalists. Add to that massacres occurring in Africa. I'm not a fan of whataboutery either, just think morality is about what you do when nobody's looking. Anyway I hate Celtic and Rangers, same 2 clubs winning league for decades isn't good for SPL.

There was definitely no chat about football!

Don’t tell me what I should and shouldn’t oppose. I oppose all of the above and more. I oppose injustice.
The difference with Palestine is that my government support and participates in that injustice.
