Some Everton fans can be awfullly smug, for fans of a club who have spunked away hundreds of millions of pounds on Scheidt footballers.

Has it ever occurred to you that if Scottish teams had £500 million to spend on players the standard may be slightly better?

No.

Honestly I don't really care , certainly won't waste time thinking about it.

Just commenting on what I see.

What's your income comparable to ? Championship club ? Think both would struggle at that level.

Some guys are clearly enjoying the game , great but it seems to me that the goalmouth action is predicated upon mistakes not creative play.

Yes I was a kid and my stand out memory was attending the street parties in Liverpool at the opening of Paddy's wigwam where nobody was bothered what religion you were, I was from a mixed religion household, as were most of my mates, the school I went to were equally Blues/reds, I left when I was 20 and have visited regularly ever since and not once have I witnessed any secterianism on Merseyside.
But hey that's my last word on the subject, after me playing down the fact you thought I was Scottish to save you embarrassment you continue to adjust your position on when these incidents actually happened but hey you win, your mate's dad was right I think they've just found some caveman drawings in Crosby.

I was brought up in Glasgow, and have no memory of sectarianism as a kid. It was still around, even though I didn't notice it. It probably helped a lot that I was brought up in an area with a huge Irish population.

Two other posters have mentioned Liverpool's sectarian problems in the past. Are they wrong as well?

Yes, I wrongly assumed you were Scottish, due to yoru username. That doesn't mean I'm wrong about sectarianism in Liverpool.

I don't know what the incomes of Championship clubs are, but I think they can offer a bigger salary than Celtic or rangers.
