TRFC fans seem to hate VAR. I can only speculate as to the reasons why. 😏
VAR and refereeing is a complete joke up here. In december and january, QP had 2 stonewall penalties denied against Hamilton who get a soft one as the referee thought it was all about him, then against Raith theyre given a soft penalty against them and then Raiths winner the ball clearly seen fully over the bye line right in front of the linesman and they score the winner from it and the Raith player even admits it was over, then Airdrie get 2 Soft penalties the other week and a QP player sent off for asking why was he nearly decapitated by the Airdrie player!!! Apparently the referee on sunday was a Rangers supporter and the penalty decision on sunday in the 95th min and then trying to get it retaken after Calum saved it just to try keep Rangers in the cup was unreal. Its funny as been having a look round youtube at the fallout from this and is laughable. Some supporter on radio clyde phone in ranting QP were rank rotten and just a glorified mickey mouse pub team and shouldnt even be there!!

Queens Park away to Aberdeen in the 1/4 final.
Be interesting if they cause an 'upset'...would the semi's always at hampden be moved or the sfa claim lesser as the actual home stadium?
Re the question you asked if QP beat Aberdeen to get to the semi final would it be played at Hampden, Rangers played in the semi final at Ibrox in 2014 against Dundee Utd and lost 3-1.

Also realised Queen's Park have knocked Rangers out of 2 national cup competitions this season, Scottish Cup quarter final and the Challenge Cup quarter final.

I must admit, I thought it was a clumsy challenge by Montgomery, and I can understand why the ref gave the penalty.

Whether he would have awarded The Spiders a penalty for the same incident is another matter entirely...

From where we were housed in the corner of the opposite end of the ground when it happened must admit looked like a penalty but when saw it on tv later from a couple of different angles it looked a soft decision to me and admit Montgomery did touch him but Dessers made the most of it after feeling a touch on his back and not the push that would make you fall over as if had 2 broken legs, but thats just my opinion.

Dont think we would have got a penalty if it was the same incident.

Anyway, its all happened and in the past now and we won and they all went into meltdown afterwards, so im happy

The fockers won last night.
Not an embarrassing scoreline, but the gulf in class showed.
I mean highly unlikely but they aren't totally out of it,something to hang onto.
And why oh why didn't Celtic use the cash for a CB?
They ain't skint

Seeing Carter Vickers looking around and going WTF!! when he saw Kane standing there totally unmarked for the second goal was quite amusing tbh! 😃
celtic will get absolutely pumped in Munich next week.. Probably! 😉

I thought our centre backs did well the other night, Trusty in particular.

Fact is, Bayern are in a different league entirely to Celtic. I'll be happy not to get hammered on Tuesday.

It's been a fun filled week for the Glasgow teams. TRFC fans are amused at Celtic conceding a goal to Bayern in the Champions League, and Celtic fans are amused at Scotland's newest club losing at home to Scotland's oldest club in the Scottish Cup. Levels... 😉

You've seen better teams rock up and leave with nothing mate.
I thought Celtic fans would hate the just glad to be at the party narrative.
I'm envious either way.

It's amusing either way!!

Was more to do with Vickers look of disbelief that the biggest threat they had to keep tabs on was standing in acres of space unmarked than the inevitability of celtic being outclassed again in europe tbh!
