I must admit, I didn't think it was anywhere close to being a red card offence.

Diomande has gotten away with a lot, but he shouldn't have been red carded for that.

I also didn't think Maeda's red card against Young Boys, was a red card offence either. Refs are still giving red cards for trivial offences.
