Loads of rumours about Tom Davies joining us up here. I had a look ok his thread and there seems to be a general feeling that most Everton fans are glad to see the back of him. Anyone on here familiar with the lad?
I think the fact he burst onto the scene with a great debut and an incredible goal seems to have worked against him.
I think we all expected him to move forward in that direction but he seems to have stagnated.
I've been willing him to succeed as both a local lad and an Evertonian but it hasn't really happened and a permanent move to the likes of Rangers would probably benefit both parties though I think a loan looks more likely.
I don't honestly think he's got a future at Goodison and though that's a shame, that's football and I would wish him well as underneath it all he's obviously a decent lad.

Fair enough. It's looking likely that he'll join. There's a fair amount of rumours kicking about. Beale has ruled out a loan for any players this season, the last lot of loan players didn't exactly set the heather on fire. Ramsay- came with a huge reputation, hardly played, missed a pen in a European final. I thought Diallo showed a bit of promise. He seems to be doing well at Sunderland. But neither really added anything to the team, which could have been down to Gio's 'tactics' and style of play.

Just read an article on Goodison News, it says he is injury prone...
As we say up here: "aw naw, no anorr wan".
If you look at it there doesn't seem to be many at Goodison who aren't injury prone, got to be something with the training methods.
Can't see Rangers being able to afford his transfer fee then if they're not looking at a loanas we won't exactly be giving him away.
Have Rangers got much money for transfers?
That Goodison news seems to be a load of dross, I don't subscribe to it but it keeps popping up in my news feed, it's incorrect 99% of the time it just seems to pull bs stories out of a hat.

It's hard to tell to be honest. We should have money in the transfer kitty considering our European run last season, the money we got for transfers at the system of the season (£10 million for Joe Aribo, £20 million for Calvin Bassey) plus the money we got for our Chapions League disaster. Although, reports from Ibrox are saying that a lot of this money needed to be returned to shareholders that gave loans to the club.
You might be right about the loan, I'm just going on what Beale said about loan players after the Dundee U game.
I initially thought that Davies is coming to the end of his contract,with a possibility of signing him on a pre-contract. But I might be getting mixed up with Todd Cantwell, who we've also been linked with.

Lesser Hampden is coming along nicely, passed by it last week .this part of its redevelopment should be finished soon . Think if they get promoted they have an arrangement to take big games to Hampden proper

It looks to me like Robertson only jumps to avoid the Wolves player, but the Wolves player brings hiss legs up and impedes Robertson causing the defender to land on him.
The St Mirren player was insanely reckless jumping in for the ball like that.
