Queen's Park had an amazing win over Utrecht on Saturday over in Holland. Beat them 4-2 against a strong 1st team they had out and that finished 7th in the Dutch Eredivisie last season. Also played Lokomotiv Zagreb last week in a game of 3 x 40 min periods. Lost 3-1 but finished 0-0, 1-3, 0-0 which isnt bad against a team that finished 4th in the Croatian top division last season and had Croatian internationals playing in it. Utrecht were loads better than anything QP will come up against in in the Championship this coming season. They looked very comofrtable against them and Utrecht were 10 times better against anything theyll face in the Championship next season, so hopefully be in for a good season and cosolidate in the Division. Owen Coyle still says need 4/5 players though.

We were originally only to be there for the Premier Cup games, but having seen the latest pics of Lesser Hampden, not going to be playing there anytime soon. Playing at Ochilview has really pissed off a lot of people, and for what hear there will be 3 teams playing on it this season so QP games might be on the Friday nights.

Dont know why. Think Firhill was a non starter. Think they tried to share with Hamilton, but with Clyde being kicked out of Broadwood theyre sharing with Hamilton, so that was out. Broadwood would have been the sensible solution but dont know what the problem was there and they thought maybe Airdrie again but didnt come to fruition as Celtic B also playing there i think.
