Surprised how quiet it is on here today ffs you bears on here lets hear you.
My mate and his lad have managed to get tickets though not together, he sent me a photograph of them with John Greig last night at the Hard Rock Cafe.
FWIW I'm not too arsed either way about the result.
Haven't seen much rangers tops or the like in Aberdeen or surrounding areas over the last two days.
Tbh you see more on less important days.
Some pubs are showing it encouraging rangers fans to attend, one of the pubs is like the wild west normally so anything might happen. Surprised at this tweet from an unliked Don's correspondent.IMG-20220518-WA0000.webp

Was just talking to a pal here at work, just said I'm lowkey proud of Rangers fans, not even destroying Sevilla before the game (small steps and that).

Welp.
When they got to the final in 2008 I was living in Manchester at the time. On the morning of the final I was coming home from a night shift and there were thousands of Rangers fans absolutely leathered at about 0900, upside down in bushes etc like a cartoon. On the night of the final I was heading to do another night shift and was driving right by the fan area when the giant screens broke. It was mayhem: they were literally rocking my car side to side and tearing everything in the surrounding area to pieces.

They didn't exactly endear themselves to me.

I had a colleague who was there. His attitude was "What did they expect?" Madness,.

Trivia for a bit, but - I've lived in Glasgow and have seen the cartoonish behaviour and in-fighting between Celtic fans on busy junctions in the city centre... when they won everything as Rangers were in the lower divisions lol

In fact, one of the first things I saw, football wise, was exactly that - Celtic fans fighting Celtic fans, cars going around as if's normal. lol

Either way, what Rangers fans did in Manchester was ridiculously dumb and I hoped we don't get a repeat, but... well, seems likely we will right now.
