Because he isnt good enough! We have moved on from just filling up squad positions now. We need to buy people who can make a difference who would then force the lesser players in the team to become the 'squad' players
I agree with your reasoning and get annoyed when as soon as we sign someone say the Yak people want AJ sold when if you keep him it adds to the squad, the only drawback is how much cash Kenwright has allowed Moyes .we will probably have to buy players not as good as first choice but an improvement on whats in reserve or face scraping the barrel if we get injuries.

Best use of budget!!!!!!!!!!!

My son is still in Liverpool and his youngest is six and trains with Everton in a weekly training program called Minikickers in Kensington. A member of the training staff told my son that our budget was by no means anywhere near the figure fans believe. i.e 20-25 million.

Not being funny mate, but why would they tell your 6yr old how much money Moyes has to spend? They probably dont even know themselves, there only community staff

Greetings Halewood Blue,

I would respectfully request you to read my original post once more? Only this time may I bring to your attention to the fact that the Everton employee was actually talking to my son and not my six year old grandson. If it was unclear? I apologize.

In truth my son (28) has conversed with this gentleman on previous occasions and on the whole has passed on many pieces of valid information. Obviously I cannot prove this as I am new to this site. I am only trying to contribute to the forum by passing on what I feel we need to know however unpalatable.

I have no reason at all to distrust my son and I cannot imagine why an Everton employee would say something untrue. Us Blues are honorable people.

Again, apologies for any distress caused to anyone. I am under the impression that is a forum upon which members could freely exchange information without derision.

mY grandson is in the same thing in dingle and my son in law got chatting to the guy that runs it and he said there is nowhere near the money the fans think available, but while I believe you where told that like my son in law two things puzzle me first why would the community coach be privy to such infomation and also if he was would he risk getting the sack by telling people like us who will then post it on a website?
