Robbed by knife point in Catania, Sicily with mrs the esk whilst she was pregnant.

Lost every single possession in the car, luggage, money, wallet, watch, passports etc

Thankfully no harm done to either of us....
 
Caught in a rip tide on a Rio beach
Shot at in a reggae bar
In a plane struck by lightning
Being chased through the backstreets of Istanbul by sinister gangster types...

Now that is scary... when I was about 14 I worked in a newsagents and was robbed at knifepoint...... the lid almost got away but I live in a very small end of the line town so the police kinda nabbed him pretty soon.... that wasn't too scary to be honest..... the scary bit was having to pick him out in an I.D. parade at the local cop shop..... none of your two way glass or shizzle... I stood in a room with 15 men in a line and had to walk up and down that line less than 2 foot away from them and the lid who robbed me was there... i picked him out but i swear down it was the scariest thing i'd done in my life knowing that he knew what I looked like for life and one day may hunt me down and kill me.

When I almost blew my hand off.. messing around with fireworks! Four of my fingers looked like burnt & spilt sausages and the pain was excruciating. Had surgery and all that.. I am one extremely lucky lid.

Also, getting nicked for drink driving when I was 21.


Giving some birds a lift, spent the night in a cell, that wasn't nice.
