Theres a difference between widespread use of a real condition as a smokescreen and that condition being made up
The thread asked for controversy I'm merely supplying it. Past treatment was harder and more frequent smacks, now substituted with sedating the little loves with drugs.

There is certainly a crutch that things like adhd and add are used by parents as an excuse for bad or lazy parenting.

My son is energetic and sometimes doesn't listen to us. Rather than cry illness I can identify that we need to keep him in line more and talk to him more straight. Because when he wants to he can be the complete opposite which not a mood swing but him just being over excited still at a young age.

But another parent in my situation would just cry adhd and cart them off to the doctors for an easy fix rather than do some actual parenting. Not saying it doesn't exist by any means, just thst far too many parents use it as a crutch the minute their parenthood hits a rough patch.

The idea I mooted is to promote equality. At the end of the day you go to it then it will be filled with people who aren't strsight. Have a boss day and it promotes that fact that everyone is just the same. You get actual popular acts to support it and it attracts even more people to the cause. The pride aspect can still live on and essentially a day full of colour and celebration but it homes in on community and as I say , equality.

Instead of a celebration that segregates the community as something that is special when to be honest they aren't any more special than anyone else because there is no difference.
It's as important to celebrate differences as it is to celebrate similarities

Im still backing Ash here, in fact i think we should jib off the 2 minute silence and have a massive paint ball fight so the soldiers dont have it all their own way

Women are (in the main) smarter and more hardworking than men. This is evidenced by higher grades archived by women at 16 and 18. However, the opportunities afforded to women later in life by society are not so generous than those offered to men.
