2nd striker/forward cutting in from the left, is where we should play him. Given a chance he'd be a good player for us, if he's still with us next season.
To be fair, looking back at his vids, he doesn’t have a great touch or technique even then. I think at the time we were all just watching the goals and nothing more. Seems like the space afforded to him in La Liga compared to here is what’s missing.
Agreed.
Except for Cuco![]()
Not seeing it. He’s a second striker and not a wide player. Just not convinced he has the pace or the skill. He can finish and his work rate is great, but sell. I also don’t buy this idea that he’s on 120K a week or whatever people keep saying. I’m sure he’s doing well, but just not buying it.If Silva is playing a 4-3-3 - a proper front three - then yes, I can't see why we wouldn't give him another go.

The bloke wasn’t physical enough, wasn’t quick enough and looked like he was running in treacle. He realised pretty quickly he wasn’t up to it and got on the first plane back to Spain.
He’s not good enough, it’s as simple as that
and hes on over 100k a week!
we are stuck with him for the remainder of his contract that is for certain.
any other club would offer him 10k a week.
hes done absolutely nothing
