We totally waste money trying to do things on the cheap or on the hunt for a bargain or are very poor judges of forwards players.

It really needs sorting.

The likes of Bournemouth, Leicester, Wolves, WHU can all come up and recruit forwards who can hit regular goals.

Its by a long shot our poorest area of recruitment.

I agree we’ve bought some tripe, but none were bought by the current regime. Not a lot to be achieved by such a review, IMO. I imagine we’ll see a big money striker move within the next two windows, at which time we’ll see how much better this lot are at identifying good’uns!

Benteke was class though, I thought he'd be a donkey then he first arrived, I remember he scored a couple v us and put it down to luck, but I was looking silly a few months later. That injury proper ruined him, as did the RS, as they do to quite a few strikers.
