Sandro makes Sevilla switch

So let me get this right, we purchase a young Spanish lad for just over 5 million. It was clear at the time that he wanted to stay in Spain (go back and read the transfer thread). He bombs...I mean he never really looked remotely up for it.

We manage to ship him out on loan for 2 million and if he comes good we get an additional 9 million.

Sounds like a great deal for us considering I doubt he would have ever settled in England anyway.

Seems we can only find cloulds among the silver linings now.

Understood. Reason I said that was he was used as an example by FartGas Moshiri in one of those Jim White farces as a player who can fill in for Lukaku when questioned why he wasn't replaced.

But we didn’t have a primary striker! Hard to believe we have sent him packing after so little time on the pitch. Players returning from injury get more of a runway to get to match fitness. He had an injury in game one and never seemed likely after that. We are an embarrassment in every way!

I wonder if a day will come when we will look back on this season and laugh.

Like it was a blip on the road to recapturing our former glories or sommat :blush:

Can’t we just buy a Left Back called Sandro something else and you can keep it.
