And that's one weekend per year. You're right.
And none of the same responsibilities are placed on the Jockey Club to get people to Aintree for Grand National.

I think that might have to be looked at again . There's no 'solution' here that won't involve more parking down there. It's small ( or rather large) things that i find so poor and infuriating.
Just one point out of many.
Season tickets go up for sale, thousands and thousands sell.
Then the buyers of them hear cars are banned from within miles of the place.
That was just ludicrous.
4 Taylor Swift tickets at 50 notes a piece? What other dubious accounting is hiding in here?
To compare it to the set up at Aintree you`ve to take into consideration that the gates open well before racing starts so that you have, even on national day, a steady stream of people over a couple of hours heading there. Then afterwards you get folks leaving as early as the second last race, and some staying at the course for well over an hour or more after racing finishes. With the football most folks are heading to the ground for an hour before KO and leaving at the same time at FT.You're right.

OMG, a Liverpool fan going the game.
A few blues I know work on a very simple logic: if you park close to the ground (by that, within the restrictions, although you may not be overly close) it's £10 a game.A concesus forming with the match going blues i know in real life is becoming clear.
They do not mind walking 30 or 40 to get to the match, most of us did it.
What they won't do after the 30-40 minutes walk is then face the queues, jostling, possible delays and the uncertainty with public transport to continue the onward slog home.
They'd opt to walk 10 minutes longer back to car and just go home.
You're defending that Kopite rat?OMG, a Liverpool fan going the game.
What an outrage.

I don't really care about him if I'm honest. You're defending that Kopite rat?
IF they remove the parking ban, that’s a massive help - they can even make money off it for gods sake
Problem there is if town is in the opposite direction to where you live.
I would assume many, many fans come in from the east seeing the traffic flow on the lancs down through Walton Hall Avenue on matchdays.
GOT Verify backed me up on that Rooney claim.I don't really care about him if I'm honest.
Im just trying to keep you busy in here to stop you making up more lies about Sir David Moyes.
