Seen this argument a few times, but I wouldn't direct homophobic abuse at someone just so they'd walk off and we'd win a match and I doubt many players/managers would be happy with doing that.

I think the like of the poster you are quoting and his ilk, belong in the cretaceous period.I think while massive strides have been made, homophobia is obviously still a huge issue in football.But all credit to Landon for his stance.

Yes all for it, except if I was a manager of a team that were playing these I'd hire a ringer to give some abuse 10 minutes in so they forfeit. Then you fire said ringer and move on to the next round of the cup or get 3 points on the board. It's a dog eat dog world I'm afraid.

Again that is the eyes and ears of the beholder. They had just forfeited two games in a row so I was just making a joke in extension of this. Yes poor taste, yes maybe not funny as I thought it was but I have already mentioned that and of course we don't want abuse to take place in any situation and I applaud Landon for his efforts.
