I'm not suprised he doesnt want to sit on the bench and fight to avoid the drop. Like us all he expected something more from his team mates
...and his manager. Perhaps he realised he was wasting what remains of his career when the manager didn't use him or any other sub when the team he was signed to play for was getting a good hiding....

Or perhaps he is getting offered his perfect retirement package in lovely part of Italy where his family lives and being a substitute in Liverpool doesn't sound great in comparison.
 
I find it quite funny that people see it as 'Eto'o wants out' and not 'Eto'o is a complete prick and disrupts every dressing room he's in'.

It's why we've been trying our best to offload him allover Europe for the past month.
