The fella has pedigree. This isn't a gazza/ gin old signing. Eto'o is still a very fit fella who scored goals in the premiership last season. He's done more than the rest of our players combined. His advise to the youngsters is invaluable. Cracking signing! Made up.

So made up with Eto signing!! I like the Naismith upfront idea but when Ross is back this could also scare the bejesus out of the prem:

Lukaku
Mirallas Eto
Barkley

Just a bit odd he takes the no.5 shirt which for me, is a CB number. Ask Kone to give up the no.9 shirt and give it to Eto'o or Rom.

Played in a testimonial game for Deco last month, so at least he got something...

In fairness though he's always been a naturally fit lad and i'm guessing he'll be on the bench for chelsea, won't be too long before he's fit.

(Before anyone fumes i'm only joking about the testimonial equating to minutes, i know it was a nothing match and probably did zilch for his fitness)

Just a thought: Rom will now have to compete in daily training with a true football great and climb the hill together with him, emerging as the bold young generation when Samuel goes over it. It being the hill. In the metaphor.

Anyway! Massive boost for our attack, really impressed with getting someone of this caliber when I've been expecting someone like Lacina Traoré or David Henen FFS. Get in!

Played in a testimonial game for Deco last month,

Not gonna mention the music. I love how they're totally not arsed when celebrating the last goal. "Oh yeah, that was nothing, you know, about combining beautifully and scoring a last minute winner by Messi in the dying minutes, making it 4-3 in front of what seems a massive crowd. Can't be arsed."

As no one has said this as of yet, I'll be that guy:

I'm interested to see if we ever play this front 4 (while Barkley is out):

Lukaku Naismith Mirallas
Eto'o
Absolutely reeks of goals. Pure FM thinking and I have no idea if it'd work, but the thought of it is cool.

EDIT: Reeks ffs. Rookie error.

Oozes´em. You´d be hard pressed to find another front four that carries so much goal threat in this league.
