Rom and Eto'o is what I'd call a strike force. Don't think I would have believed both would be Blues a month and a half ago.

Not happy with this one. He's a mercenary, the move to Anzhi that time had nothing to do with football and I'm hoping this isn't one final pay day for him and he'll just hop in his hammock for 2 years whilst not bothering to stay fit. Really hope I'm wrong and he's a consummate professional who's interested in what Bobby's doing and is taking a massive pay cut.

His work rate was exceptional at Chelsea; he fell in love with the English game.
What this shows is the lure of Bobby; the 'big name' players coming to Everton is fantastic news for the young lads.

all depends on his wages....

it its 90-100k a week....then we're signing F'n Samuel Eto'o....

if its 50-60k a week....then we're signing Samuel F'n Eto'o :drunk:

Its a fantastic signing.
Big name, big profile, big experience and is a threat. Knows where the goal is, a great lad and will be full of superb advice for Rom.
European experience, a winner.
Its a bloody no brainer and offers us something we dont have. He also has pace still which is excellent news.

Will be a great signing and I am delighted.
That could be even better than him scoring loads of goals. Getting the best return from our 28million quid investment.

Would love to sign him. And start him and Rom in the next derby.

As rubbish as he was at Chelsea, he did score 12 goals last season.

If he can get 10 and Lukaku chips in with 15-20, we'll be on our way to a really good season.

Couldn't care less about his wages.

It's not my money.

not our money, but it would effect the team....if someone comes in earning way more than everyone else than it will plss players off....

also, if the rumour of 100k a week for 2 years is true, then that's £10.4m gonne from our transfer budget....i'd rather see us spend that on a younger player who in 2 years time might be worth alot more...
