Just read up on the Chelsea forum.

People seemed to think he was their best striker last year and a really good influence on the younger players....however there was some comments to the press after Mourinho said he was older than 32 (he called Jose an idiot for saying that) and the Chelsea fans didn't like that.

Well he is not as old as the Yak when he started with us.

Flabbergasted and very pleased tbh...

We can't actually afford to pay him but we'll get 3 or 4 games in (including the derby) before he gets his next wage slip, should be enough

This could be a master stroke. It's this calibre of player (even at his age) who will stay calm, keep the youngsters calm and bag the winner in those tight/important games.
