I hope one of the younger lads releases a vine, with a vid of another 1 of them emptying 1/2 of his cologne out and topping it up with pish.... dated about 2 weeks after he arrived.

Be great if Ross came out sayin' "wora nob'ead he was, glad to be rid of the tw@ from MY club."

The Manager played Sammy Ets on the wing and also picked Kone before him, im surprised he didnt leave months ago.

I'm scratching my head here as to why he joined us in the first place. I am convinced he'll have had other offers, so could we REALLY have been the best available to him? Baffling. I imagine he didn't like it in Liverpool, like. Can't imagine the world's former best played footballer hanging around for too long in that city, to be fair. Italy is much more his thing, still pretty classless the way he's gone about it. I was singing his praises too for the way he's handled himself since being with us.

If I had to guess, the delay is prolly work permit, international clearance kinda thing.

Considering Evertons track record with regard these things, I can understand the caution, Sampdoria will just bung somebody a few quid.

He's got Italian residency/citizenship hasn't he ? no way he'll need a work permit anyway as a 'Libretto de Lavora' & 'numero fiscale' is valid for life.

I agree with all this except where you refer to us as "that city".

Sounds a bit off. Like, 'that' woman.........

His wife doesnt even live in Italy.

He married his longtime sweetheart Georgette on 6 July 2007. Georgette is the mother of Siena and Lynn, who both live with her in Paris, France.

I think the prospect of being the guy to get us into the top 4 helped. And that was a possibility at the start of the season.

Plus I'm sure Martinez blew more smoke up his rear than a bloody chimney!

Sampdoria are like 5th or something in Serie A, so guess he's gone there to be 'the guy' who gets them in the Champions League.

I think he might have jibbed her off mate because there was a lot of talk that he got married in Italy over Crimbo. Maybe he just has a wife in every country. Makes sense to have a "go to" lass when he's in need of a bit.

I'll be honest, I'll miss the 'we signed Samuel Eto'o' chant, and the idea of having Eto'o, more than the actual reality of Samuel Eto'o.
