he's a shrewd businessman, our Bill.
shrewd, I tell ya
like a latter day Ken Barlow
Dear Sampdoria,
Let me introduce you to our fine Board. Shrewd businessmen and negotiators.
Expect them to ride your way soon...

Let's not rewrite history here, we're not kopites.

He was good when used properly, not his fault the manager decided he should play 90 minutes in midfield. Whenever he came on to try and unlock tight defences, he always looked like creating something. That through ball to Coleman in the Sunderland game comes to mind straight away.

I think calling him a mercenary is particularly harsh, I never got the impression he didn't care. He's not the same player he was 7 or 8 years ago, sure, but that doesn't make him a mercenary.

really? jumping at the first opportunity to go to play in Italy, where he says he always wanted to play, eventhough he shunned apparent interest from Italy to sign for us in the smmer? The same Eto who was on his way to the r/s until the deal collapsed? The same Eto who's had more clubs that Tiger Woods? Not a mercenary? seriously?

Why the hate for Sampdoria?

Seems a straightforward deal, Eto'o wants to go there, Everton are willing to let him go.

So if we are messing them around or negotiating the hell out of it because we need the practice for the summer then it will be down to our board.

The same club that messed Leroy Fer around, or offered less than a release clause for Mouthinio, Or GOt a work permit for Banega before Valencia had even agreed to loan him to us.

Yep the same board that managed to get £27.5m for Fellaini, £24m for Lescott, £10m for Andy Johnson...

Say what you like about our board but its true when we say Everton dont sell cheap.

Rooney for 30M, daylight robbery that by United he should of been a 50M + purchase. I know the money situation was a bit different back then though.

How dare he want to move to the same country where his family live. The bad knobhead.

Aye, but it's not as if they weren't living there 6 months ago when chose to come to us and signed a 2 year contract.
Not getting a game in an average side behind average players and getting played out of position when he does get on? Would do it for anyone...good luck to him I say.

Hi guys,
i'm a sampdoria supporter.
I'd like to know if Etoo' is really moving to my team... in Italy everybody says is sure!
in my opinion is unbelivible... but, if it's true, amazing for us!
