If we get some decent money for him then I won't have any objections, but if it's free or £1-2m I think it'd be stupid. Even when he's not playing great, he's still lightyears ahead of every other player we have in terms of raw ability.

Got to be trouble or FFP maybe? Perhaps we can't have more wages and Roberto has decided that having a decent defender or goalkeeper instead of a 4th number 10 on massive wages might be a better idea....

If it's true it'll be a shame as he seems to enjoy being here when you see him warming up and talking to and smiling with fans, ball boys, anybody near him. Just hope we get to see him score again at GP if he's going this month, would have liked him to get the winner in the derby, but seems unlikely now.

Eto'o probably has a couple of exit clauses written into his contract. Coming to Everton was a risk for both parties and there are probably agreements in place that if Eto'o wanted to leave he could do so.
I think that maybe he wants to be somewhere more familiar. It may be his family had difficulty settling. I think that if he leaves it will not be for football related issues.

It's frustrating that we just haven't used him properly, seeing him completely lost, shoved out on the wing was the most annoying thing.

Thanks for single handedly destroying Burnley and thanks for rescuing a point in Russia!
